Do anyone have Harlequin Tusk/Choerodon fasciatus in your reef tank?

recently I have a 6cm Harlequin Tusk/Choerodon fasciatus, it still in my QT. Will it eat my corals SPS or LPS or clams(i have 2)?

I have one in a softies/LPS mixed reef. She doesnt care about my corals at all. She does like to munch on my smaller hermits if she finds them and get them out of the shell.

Clams , possibly, and leaves my corals alone however if it does not like where coral are placed, it may try to move them

Thanks everyone! after finished Quarantine it will go into my tank, i love their colour

Mine was about 6 inches - very good fish - though I was always afraid to put my hand on the tank to feed - He definitely ate every clean up crew (snails, crabs, shrimp) - such that there were none left - never saw a difference though. I would think a clam would be a risk. Never touched corals

Have had Tusks since 1973… definitely on my ‘must have’ list … prefer Aussey… hasn’t eaten every snail and crab, but most!

If you have one of those - a cover of some type is mandatory. Sorry - I meant to mention that...

Lol you said the same about bettas! I see why for sure, what else is on that list out of curiosity! And agree with the Australian, expensive though! Mines a phillipines and shes beautiful!

Hard to tell from the pic, but your tank looks small for a tusk. The fish probably needs more swimming space
