So since the day I added my first anemone (red BTA) over the weekend my acans have all been closed up all day for the first time since adding them.

I have two possible culprits in mind:

1. A flame angel I added about two weeks ago, which hasn’t bothered them so far but has recently started “investigating” corals, despite being well fed twice daily.

2. I understand anemones can detect each others presence, could the BTA be sending out signals and the Acans are hiding out? It’s nowhere near them physically (like 2 feet away), but the timing seems to line up exactly.
