Was just recommended by my lfs on my first ever tank and it worked pretty well. It's essentially bacteria in a bottle I think.
What did it do? I am not familiar with this product.

It's made by Fauna Marin...I assume it's the same type of bottled bac strains like other brands have bit have never had a need to use it personally so don't know if it works better or not

What “problem” does it solve?

OK thanks! Do think this is true?
Personally? I doubt it's any more effective than any of the other bottled bacs that are a lot cheaper...if I were gonna get a bottled bac I'd go with one of the PNS line products or Nitribiotic by Faina Marin. I really doubt they disclose the bacteria it contains unlike the others which is a red flag for me.

Hey thanks for your perspective. By the way, would biofilm eating sea stars like these bottled bacteria as food?
