Is having a tank drilled on the back glass as effective as one that has been drilled on the bottom?

What is the flow rate on say a 1 1/2" hole?

hmmm, i've never heard which is more "effective"......its more about personal preferences IMO.

but yes...be careful.....b/c many tanks have tempered bottom panes of glass.

flow rate on a 1.5" bulkhead should be around 1300gph
