I'm planning on doing a mixture of both. Going to start with dry marco for my main scape. Its easier to work with to get NSA scapes. I'm also going to get some tampa bay live rock ruble for my fuge area to help with cycle and bottled bacteria.

After my tank is cycled and has been running for a bit before I start getting coral I'm going to get some premium live rock for my lower zoa/softie area. I guess my situation is a little different because I'm going to run FAWLR for a while before adding coral, so I can take it a little slower.

100% live rock. I have been reefing for 30+ years, it was relatively easy using live rock. I started my latest 30 mixed reef with Caribsea Liferock, and it took over a year to achieve what I considered maturity. Now, do I love the instant purple color of the rocks and the beautiful arches, of course.
