Drying your vaccuum

Total newb question lol. :(

How do you all dry your vacuum after a WC? I just have a cheap lee's tube vacuum, but it seems to have a film on the inside after drying?

Yea rinse in the sink and and hang it up really..

lol, this is what I was expecting, but I'm about 6 WC's in and the bottom foot of my vacuum is almost white! It was clear when I bought it.

This post made me get up and take a look at my siphon vacuum....that I've had for ten years. I never do anything to mine when done, short of shaking out any excess water....no rinsing, just roll it back up in the bucket.

And yep, it looks white and blotchy with some darker spots. That's life! :D
