Weird spots on torch skeleton, kind of a reddish tent. Are these some kind of flatworm eggs?

that appears to be a sponge. it should be carefully scrubbed off using a soft bristle tooth brush. You need to be careful not to scrub the flesh of the coral. This could cause damage that leads to infection, recession, and even brown jelly disease. If you leave the sponge you risk it growing onto the coral flesh or irritating it causing recession and possible infection.

Good to know I’ll see if I can delicately scrub that off with the brush I use.
