Hi all, a few days ago i noticed some weird bumps on my torch coral skeleton… i thought nothing of it until the emerald crab i tossed in (who likes to hang out under said torch) has what looks like it on his carapace as well… i cant tell if it’s spreading on the torch skeleton itself.

i spent the better part of two hours looking at all my colonies and around their bases/skeletons for any sign of flat worms and have found zero trace of those largeish brown/grey worms.

the other torch colonies in my tank are thriving, as is this one. So I’m praying that it’s not EEFW. Because that would suck.

so to put my troubled mined to ease. Has anyone else seen these kinda formations? B34D6B19-8CBF-4679-B551-25FE4907F28D.jpeg C73E27D8-4D99-4D08-A445-D871F6A66A5E.jpeg

Also every instance of EEFW thread has had some sort of brownish/orange eggs… not sure if that helps

Really hard to tell from the photos but it could be that some of the skeleton is deteriorating. Was a head fragged off in that spot?
Not to my knowledge… i got it a few months back when it was splitting into 2 heads, now it’s over 5 i think
