Emerald Crab and.... not sure. Seems fast and digs rear-end into the sand

Just got to emerald crabs from Harrys. One is def an emerald... one, not sure.

pretty fast moving around tank and buries rear end into the sand to hide.

That one looks more like a Xanthid crab or similar to me - if I had to guess, maybe a Cataleptodius or Leptodius species, but I really don't know for sure on this.

Regardless, that one's probably not reef-safe.

Looks a lot like the Cataleptodius for sure. When I hit him with a light in the QT tank he really moves fast! The real emerald just hangs out.

Plus one on it being a xanthid crab, definitely not reef safe and should be removed or banished to the sump

Crabs with black claws usually mean bad lol
