Entries accepted through February 16, 2020. The winner will be chosen by random draw and announced on Monday, February, 17th.

Build Thread - First Reef Tank
So, I spent 6+ months collecting equipment and building stand, light fixtures, etc. Got the tank up and running in time for my boy's 2nd birthday. It was my gift to him. Originally started a a goldfish in a bowl, before evolving into a full blown mixed reef tank. I like challenges.

I really want this prize to better stabilize the saltwater. Constant evaporation and adding large amounts of water can't be great for livestock. The regular flow of the ATO will take care of that. And Tunze is the fire.
I am also starting to collect some coral (Lps, sps, zoas) and need to begin testing and dosing to maintain calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity perameters.

Build Thread - 1bite’s IM 40ext SPS Dominant
After getting into the hobby about 3 years ago and having several tanks from, Red Sea Reefer 250 to a 350. Then downsizing to a nuvo 20 while we remodeled the basement. It is finally done and I am back with a Nuvo 40EXT. I’ve kept tanks with tons of LPS and soft corals and the plan to go SPS...
