Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with it. Good or bad.

I'm quite confident it is a good way to boost nitrate, and folks generally do not have problems dosing nitrate if it is too low.

Whether you see an effect or not is a different question, but doing it to reduce the chance of dinos is important even if you see nothing else.

Thanks. They’ve been testing zero for a bit. I removed the live rock in my sump and took collection cup off my skimmer. Plus I’m leaving socks in longer to see if I can get them up a bit first and if that doesn’t do it I’ll try it.

Well, it raises calcium and alkalinity in a balanced fashion, and will boost calcium by about a third of the nitrate.

Got you, so does the brightwell neonitro raise cal and alk too? I have been using neonitro but runnjng out.

I cannot know for sure since they do not disclose the ingredients, but all nitrate dosing raises alk (2.3 dKH for each 50 ppm added and consumed). I think the calcium part is unlikely.

Great. Since I usually raising about 3-5 so the dkh rise should be minimal. Thx
