I'm not sure if I am alone here, but the day after I clean my glass my tank looks its best. I'm not sure if it is the algae I clean off the glass or something else, but everything opens bigger and stronger than ever. Anybody else notice this? Or no why?

Feel free to use the following quote:

Thanks for the dummy comments.

I let my algae grow on my glass so that my snails have something to much on. Put when I clean my glass everything in my tank goes nuts. I guess I am the only one.

That is why I put the dummy disclaimer.

I think it is because while there are algae on the glass there is also bacteria and micro fauna that you don't see that goes into the water column that the corals can feed on in a more natural state.
