extra rock

i’m moving and plan on eliminating 1 tank for now, plan is to set up a larger tank and combine the 2 into 1 problem is i will have extra rock it may be a while (month) maybe little
more before i’m able to even start setting up a tank.. what should be
done with the extra rock ? it’s nice rock 8-9 years old figi and tonga but not sure about long term storage… die off ect.. appreciate any suggestions

how long could i do that? what about live stuff on the rock dying?
Periodically add a food source . Maintain it as if it was another’s tank. Personally I would not sell it as Tonga is hard to come by if you can even get it at all . Definetly worth the effort !!!

The only problem would be stuff that needs light. If you have corals. Coralline will die off but it’s not going to hurt anything

there is some coralline but not crazy, oral will have a tank just that i’m going from 3–2 tanks and will have extra but do have plans for it i. the future
