Ok will do. Looks like i just need to buy from my old lfs that have good stock. I bought some coral of a dude on Craigslist that came with velvet and wiped my tank the first time and now after fallow i get this infected Gramma from online, sheesh. I guess my luck ran out by not QT'ing in 12 years of reefkeeping.
There is a lot of infection out there. It really is kinda pointless to do a fallow to remove the velvet and then not quarantine corals and fish that you are bringing into your tank after that.

It’s a pain to have a coral/invert quarantine, a separate fish quarantine, and main tank. But without doing that, you roll the dice with every new addition.

There are some fantastic quarantine threads with info.

I’m just mad bc I tried a cherry head goby in 2009 and it died
Disease or stress of small space? I like QT’ing fish and really take my time with it. Easily going 2 months of treatments and then no hurry to move them out after treatments. Last batch was in for quite a while but I had early deaths in that group from Uronema. Lost 2 anthias and a Starcki damsel. All within 14 day guarantee so got credit from LA. Made me make sure they were clean before distributing to 3 different tanks.
Just got new fish Wednesday with the credits.
All eating and taking off good with the medications.
Here’s the 6 new guys:

The others are right. After 3-times fallow, these are my QTs for small and medium size fish. (Eventually we all learn. LOL)

So far the spots disappeared on the Royal Gramma without any treatment and it's not rubbing on the sand any longer. I've got some copper coming in sometime this week but I'm crossing my fingers and maybe the fish will recover on its own.
