Fancy vermatid snail

Seems there's a bit of vermatid hate going on so I thought I'd post some vermatid love. Check out my "ultra super rare metallic neon firefly vermatid snail"

Just kidding..., its just a regular vermatid that's growing in my firefly lepto.

But this goes to show you that vermatid web doesn't bother this coral. The border tissue death you see is due to the encroaching jack o lantern lepto that I gotta separately deal with...

Check out my branching favia. The neat thing that happened here is that the favia grew faster than the vermiteds.

That's neat, goes to show you again that an otherwise healthy encrusting coral can and will overtake and outcompete the vermatid web.

That only seems to happen with encrusting lps.

The acros only grow with it, never over it.

I seen the same and even if you put glue over the tube, the worm will just tunnel elsewhere
