That’s what I’m thinking too. From what I read, 1” is easier to work with too because of the true unions it has.Personally. I always try to upsize the flow sensor. 1/2” is quite restrictive to flow and comes with adapters for 1/2” slip.

Roughly around 600pghIt all depends on how much flow u are running through it. The 1" is good for 150 gph to i think 1500 gph. Anything under that you have to use the 1/2".
