Flukes?

Can someone confirm that these are flukes, or identify otherwise? They came off a tang in a freshwater bath. Thanks.

This is a hard pic to work with with flash in the pic. Looks like sand grains bur also can be sesame seed appearance which would be. Look for signs on the fish such as red or swollen gills with rapid breathing, fish acting lethargic or swimming near the water surface, hiding in the corner of tank or behind rocks, loss of appetite, shaking its head, flashing/darting, develop clamped fins, , or scratching against objects. They may also exhibit what looks like yawning from gill irritation develop, cloudy eyes and loss of color.

The fish is lacking some color from rubbing on rocks and hides a lot. Does have appetite. Is this picture better?

I got this fish half price due to its condition. I felt sorry for it and really want to bring it back to health.

Fish was doing decent after the freshwater dip. Then I dosed coppersafe on the recommendations of lfs. Fish started to struggle so I did a large water change to get medicine level down. Fish died a few hours later.
