Does anybody know what this is growing on the back spine of my fox face?

Does anybody know what this is growing on the back spine of my fox face?

Generally, when you see growths at the end of a fin like that, it is very often a lesion from the Lymphocystis virus. However, this does NOT look like that. I agree, could it be something that got caught on its fin? If it has been there for a few days, it probably isn't that. Can you post a clearer picture, with less of a blue hue?

I would have said lymphocystis! - so will be a good discussion as to what it is

I’ll take a photo tomorrow with the filter on or white light. It’s yellow and looks like a growth
