that's how it happened with the feeder cup I got. refund came quickly, but it does sound scammy. I wish they generated a promo code to make it free.
That’s good then. As many scams as are out there it makes me nervous. Since people I know and trust are saying it’s legit I feel a lot better about trying this out.

Hey! I would love to test these against my current test kits and see how they work. Always looking for innovations in the hobby, especially those that make testing faster/easier!
PM sent.

The same process was used when I participated in testing their (really good) protein skimmer. I went through with it and they got the refund sent super quick.

Edit: they sent the refund as soon as Amazon processed the payment/paid out to the seller on their end. Skepticism is good, but I wouldn’t hesitate to give them a shot. Plus, if anything fell through you could just return the item to amazon.
Im considering getting their small protein skimmer because my current one makes a weird noise and its loud. Would you recommend it? Its the one for tanks up to 80 gallon by the way. I have a 40 gallon breeder tank.

I would love to tey these out and document my current test results agains them.

Its about time we get something nice and easy for the slightly less dedicated, and if I can help bring confidence to that, I absolutely want to participate

I have it in the back chamber of my 80g AIO and like it a lot. After breaking it in, it took a little bit to get it adjusted dialed in. But once I got it all tuned, it’s worked like a charm.
