Has anybody found a low profile wall mount for the Fire Tablet?

Mine works great! My display died a few months ago and I couldn't justify buying another but this is great! I can also use the tablet for other basic jobs!

Great idea guys!

I am considering this one: Pad Tab2

There is a video in the thumbnails that shows it better.

I'm looking into these, but I feel like I won't always want to remove it from the wall to use it. I just want to leave it attached to the wall and with this mount, it doesn't seem stable enough to risk having it fall. I have Travertine floor and it'll 100% smash from the height I want it. Not worth the risk so I'm looking into a TV-style mount.

go with velcro. It sticks so well that its actually a small pain to remove. It wont fall.

The black box arguement is kind of funny but pretty lame too. Lol It is orange so it is easy to see. I do not want to see this thing. The screen is a different story and still the ugliest of all I have seen to date. I still vote for skins since there is 5 times the computing power. :)

3 strips of Velcro and that tablet ain't going nowhere. I would have preferred a flush mount in the wall for a cleaner look but this doesn't look too bad.

Is that the 7" model? Mine doesn't display 3 rows when turned sideways like that.

Yes that's the 7"

It might be how you have your dashboard organized.

Btw just came back from lowes, bought a "cable hider" to hide the power cord. Looks much better now.

Anybody having issues with the browser staying open 24/7. Mine keeps closing every few hours for no reason.

Unfortunately none of the 8GB or 16GB models will ship to Canada. And no Fire tablets on sale on Amazon.ca.

Retiring an older iPad Mini to do the same function. A similar way to maintain the display on indefinitely:

Settings > General > Auto-Lock > Never
