Howdy everyone...
Was out of the hobby for about 10-12 years. Got back into it a couple of months. Running a 75 gallon tank. Got a few things in there..... nothing too special. Already wishing I had bought a bigger one..... Time to start planning again.
You should have posted here before you bought that tiny tank. We could have helped with encouragement and support.

Still can, Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Yup, that's how it goes. Still a 75 is a reasonable sized tank.

I always suggest a 40b over a 55, a 75 over a 90, and a 120 over a 125. I like the width. Case and point my current tank is 320 gallons but only 5.8 feet long. With a 3 foot width. The larger foot print really looks good to me.

100% agreed with everyone on size. I now look at that space where the tank is and realize I have an extra 4-5 foot of useless space. So I will roll with this one for a little bit and start putting together a MUCH larger design. I am going to put the largest tank that can physically fit in the space.....which is something around 300 gallons depending on dimensions. Admittedly it will take probably 3-6 months to get all the planning together and stuff bought up. There are some plumbing concerns in terms of automation. I don't really want to drag around trash cans for something that big. I will keep everyone updated.....Thanks again.
