Any recommendations on how to get more gold out of a dragon soul torch?

I love mine and he's been doing great, in the process of splitting after getting to the largest single head torch I've ever seen. I just wish he had more gold like some of the pics I see of others.

I had one reefer tell me a year back something about higher phosphates having some to do with it coloring up more. I don't know how true that is and don't really want to be upsetting a lot of corals just chasing colors so to speak. I honestly haven't seen a lot on all this.

Recommendations on foods other than Reef Roids for them? Not sure what else they'd really eat. I try to feed Reef Roids once to twice a week.
I used roids for a little but algae liked it just as much as the corals did. I have been dosing Red Sea AB+ since February and once a week I’ll squirt some fish food on the torch with the pumps off and it grabs it up. I feed LRS to the fish. That picture was old I have since cut up the colony and kept 1 small head in June. It had since turned into 3 heads. Whatever I'm doing it is liking it. Here is how it looked after I cut it and here it is last week

I’ll second the AB+, my dragon soul torch loves the stuff and has great color since I switched to using it.

I have AB+ sitting in the fridge I've only used a couple times. I'll start using that consistently.

How often a week would you guys recommend?

Definitely going to be rank specific, slower is better. My little 65 gallon is stuffed with corals and I dose about 8ml every night. Think about giving it some meaty but small pieces of fish food if you got it. They take forever to eat so keep the flow off for at least 30 min. Good luck and reach out if you ever want

I’d start with half the recommended dose every other day, and go from there. If algae starts growing or your nitrates start taking off, can back it down. If not, add more.

I dose the full amount daily, with the skimmer off. The corals know it’s feeding time and open their polyps.

My torches love the LRS nano food. I make sure it gets a little bit whenever I feed the fish. Has doubled in size the past month since I started doing this. Mine is a hellfire but I’m sure it applies to dragon soul as well

Hey! How did this work for you, I just got a dragon soul torch and I would like it to color up. I got it two days ago and it is now in my 20 gallon waterbox, the color isn't great. Could it be that my lighting is too low? Here's my settings.

Feed them meaty foods, or anything that works I guess. I keep my nitrates higher than usual, gets good color from my euphyllia.
