Hi everyone,
Last week I got a scopas tang from a guy who moved out of state. It was the last fish he rehomed and I was tempted to make this move, since it had nowhere else to go.
The tang is doing great (for now he's still very timid so I can't grab pics). 3" long. Hard worker. Eats all the nori I throw in. The thing is, I kinda wish he was a bit more colorful. I mean of course not the ugliest in the hobby but I guess he's kinda... drab and dull? When I looked at him sometimes I wish he was a yellow tang (lol). I know it was my decision but I'm just saying...
So I wonder, will the colors be more pronounced as he gets older? (I see some on google that they get a bit of blue and nicer gradient). Also, what are the reasons to keep the scopas instead of other zebrasoma, in your opinion? I guess my poor soul just needs more validations so I can feel better (sorry).
