Hey, I am starting a 65gal fish only tank. My fish list PLAN is :
- Ocellaris clown ( Preferably tank bred). Maybe a pair? (good idea?)
- Diamond Watchman Goby ( Maybe after awhile of my tank running seeing as they need a matured sandbed)
- Royal Gamma Basslet
- Firefish (2)
- Lawnmower Blenny (will it have any problems with the Goby?)
- Flame Angelfish ( in the far far future, last addition to tank MAYBE)

Any other suggestions for nice peaceful fish for a community tank?

Royal Gamma Basslet is pretty agressive for a peaceful tank. I'd look at a fairy/flasher wrasse, as most as peaceful and are very colorful and active

My royal grammas ate not aggressive either , and one is very big (biggest royal gramma I have ever seen, 3"). That flame angel may get mean though, and when I had two firefish together one continuously harassed the other one until he jumped out the tank and died, I got them both at the same time too.

As mentioned the firefish will harass one another. I did have two but am down to one currently and thats how it will stay. As for the basslet, the one one i saw was in a buddys tank and it was a mean lil guy!

I have had good success with the gobies and blennies...Golden Midas Blenny, Tail Spot Blenny. I also have some blue assessors that are pretty cool to watch and never bother anything.

Yea, I will most likely not get the Flame Angel. I have looked at the wrasse fish though but there are so many nice looking fish that I guess it will come down to what my LFS has at the time of purchase.

I agree, the royal gamma can get quite aggressive, if you do decide to stock up your tank with one of those, make sure any other fish you put in your tank isn't identical in shape or color. There's going to be some problems!

I really like the Kaudrens Cardinal, but all the LFS that I have been to never seem to have them, all I see are the Spotted Cardinals. Zebra Dartfish look nice too, I guess when it comes down to my purchase periods it will just be up to what my LFS has lol
