Yes it is.
Mine GN started to have this as well.
They are pretty young still as they not even reached the color of gold.
Feed them a balanced frozen food only as they will feed the nem there are in at the same time.
Nice pair you have there.

Ok I see.
Well, keep a eye on that.
Any new additions you put in the tank lately?

Hard to say for what it can be.
If they eating and behaving normal I wouldn't worry too much.

Everyone is breathing really heavily and the female, the one with the spot, keeps falling on her side, but is it possible that they are all doing this because the temp was elevated to 85F instead of the reg 79F

The spot doesn't look like anything to be too concerned over, but the heavy breathing and laying on her side is. When/why did the temp shoot up? How long have you had these clownfish?

Basically as I said I upgraded my 5g to a 20g due to a bad tank leak. I had to move everything to the tank before it had time to completely heat up and plus the heater I had was inadequate. Yesterday I went to the lfs to pick up a new heater and vein the the temp in my dt was low I dialed up the heater to 85F. I kinda forgot about it and this morning found all the inhabitants breathing heavily so I checked the temp and saw it was at 85F, I tuned the dial back down to 78F. Tank is still at 83F and fish are breathing heavily but the female clown is a bit more active. Could the elevated temp be the cause of the heavy breathing

Yes, very possible as there is less dissolved oxygen available at higher temps. I would just let the temp come down and continue to monitor. Add an airstone to the tank or point a small powerhead towards the surface of the water to increase gas exchange for them.

You can also put ice cubes in a ziplock bag to help bring the temp down. Just don't let the temp come crashing down too quickly or drop below 76-77.

I would test for ammonia and get an air stone in the tank if you can. If you have ammonia in the tank, do at least a 50% water change and add Seachem Prime.
