Hi there fellow reefers!
I’m finally getting around to introducing myself. I live in Dallas, and started up a 160 gallon mixed reef last June. Mostly LPS and Montis, with some Zoas and shrooms thrown in for good measure.
I’ve had two previous reef tanks, but have been on hiatus for a few years. I was tempted to enter the hobby again when I started studying some of the latest reefing methods, and decided I’d give Triton a go.
Basic specs are....
160 gallon DT with Triton 44 sump
Fuge with Chaeto and Kessil H360
2 Maxspect Gyre 350s
2 AI Hydra 52s
Sicce Syncra return pump
Eshopps S-200 skimmer
Neptune Apex with 3 DOS dosing pumps
CO2 scrubber
Dual canister reactor with GFO and GAC (used as needed)
You have a great community here. I have especially enjoyed “going to school” on Randy’s many excellent reef chemistry articles. Randy, you are the man!
Thanks all—I hope to be more of a contributor and less of a lurker in the near future!
