Hi guys,

I’m planning on a 200 ish gallon tank. The plan is to automate the water changes. This water has to be mixed in a bin. It would be cool if I could grow copepods or plankton in there as a food source. And that the plankton and or copepods would be released in small number as a food source. Someone ever try that?

Pods for sure, phytoplankton is going to require light and nutrients to grow. I grow pods in a bin that I leave outside in the summer. I don't think I would want that water going into my tank though.

Set it and forget it: Do you change your aquascape as your corals grow?
