YepAnybody using gyres mounted vertically on either side of their center overflow ?
They run constantly or just use them as a way to flush the back of the tank? Wondering a good starting point for programming my WaveEngine to supplement my ReefOcto Pulse 2’s..
My current pumps kick up sand in both front corners. I’m hoping I can add Gyres to the back to do some dirty work at lower speed, along with lowering speed on other pumps, to avoid that.I tried but it kept kicking up the sand in the closest corner
Two maxspect 230s at 80% ocean gyre, on a 60 gallon cube. Don’t get any detritus buildup, just old coralline that the urchin poos out. Barebottom tank though. They run constantly or just use them as a way to flush the back of the tank? Wondering a good starting point for programming my WaveEngine to supplement my ReefOcto Pulse 2’s..
