How do I keep my nitrates Perfect? im pretty sure if i get them perfect the hair Algea will drown out and it will be easier to get rid of during daily mantinence.

What do you consider perfect nitrates? For me, it's in the 10-20 range as long as you have many softies to eat them up.

Soft corals. If I didn't care about taking care of corals, I would aim for 5-10 range.

Nitrates are not that big of a deal to control. Maybe someone can correct me here, but I do believe that hair algae is more closely associated with phosphates than nitrates.

Make sure not to get the zebra turbo snails, they can grow to 4 inches.
