FWIW, if you line up several cuvettes, the line is different on each one. Never trust the line as being 10ml. Use a automatic pipette for the best accuracy.

Something like this:


Accuracy is the reason one of these is now included in the calcium checker because of the small sample volume. 1 drop in either direction can throw off the results by quite a bit

Important for the alk reagent...refrigerate and shake before each use. This will ensure longevity and accuracy IME.
I like to swirl it every time. Have never had a problem. Good tip, thank you.

No problem! If not refrigerated the reagent tends to test differently after a bit. Not sure on exact timeline but within a month.
Good to know! I might as well do it, as I have a fridge two feet from my testing station. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
