I have been having hard time keeping my phosphates above Zero. So I decided to dose them starting slow.

Somebody recommended Flourish Phosphorus. So I did buy it and started to dose it. My Hanna Phosphorus started to indicate that it was working. BUT WAIT ...

The bottle says Phosphorus NOT Phosphate. What have I done by dosing Phosphorus? Do I need to do anything beside stopping? Will my refugium take care of it? The level is 17 ppb.

Off the bottle
"Flourish Phosphorus™ is a safe solution (4,500 mg/L phosphate) of potassium phosphate"

As far as the phosphorus measurement goes:

(ppb Phosphorus X 3.066) / 1000 = ppm Phosphate

You are at .05 PPM Phosphate currently.
