Hi everyone, does anyone know what this is?

2016_0101_001440_001.JPG

It is growing in some of the more shadowy areas of the rock and under the blue lights is a rather bright red. I'm new to reefing and couldn't get a very good look at it so I tried scraping some off and siphoning it so I could make sure it wasn't slimy. Anyway, I put it under a digital microscope, and thats what it looks like. While I had it under microscope, I also saw some microorganism. I dont know if it is some type of worm or parasite?

I also took a video of the microscope screen so you can see how it moves. Sorry about the video quality, the microscope doesn't record video directly so I had to record the LCD with my phone.

Thanks in advance!

This is what the red stuff (some kind of algae I assume) looks like in the rocks. It doesn’t look particularly hairy or feathery as it does under microscope

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
