Help, Im worried about my new Clam.

Hi all, I got this new clam over the weekend and this evening I noticed it it receeding at the back end as seen in the picture. Any advice please.

Why is it standing up like that? Is that the camera angle? I've never seen a clam in that position.

What kind of clam? Crocea maybe? If it is crocea is doesn't like to be on the sand.

The corals around it are all low light corals, I'm wondering if the lighting is enough down on the sandbed?

Can you share the water parameters and the age of the tank?

It's a dersa. At this point there is nothing much you can do about it. Make sure it's receiving a decent amount of light and not being disturbed by other tank mates and hope for the best
