P. ciliata.

Spearer

The giveaway is the checkerboard eye patterns, they are color polymorphic and may change when it molts but the eyes have a signature pattern to them. The manual confirmation is the way it eats.

They're a pretty nice species that roams reef flats, so it'll get more active over time. As long as it has a spot to dig out a u-shaped burrow under a rock you should be good, sand is deep enough.

mandibular palp, you'll often see it cleaning itself with them.

P. ciliata is highly color polymorphic based on environment, so it likely won't stay that way.
