Hey Reefers,
I recently started a Red Sea Reefer 250 tank!
I’m currently 4 months in and things are slowly settling in with the nitrates and fishes are comfy!

I had a question about Kessil lighting and what settings I should run. Ever since I got the Kessil light there has been excessive algae growth and I’m just running the tuna preset that Kessil light came with.

I also have 4 conchs, 4 nassarius snails, 10 trochus snails. And some other small ones that go in the rocks I forgot.

But with these C.U.C members, the algae is too much for them ? Should I fire them or get some more cleaners.

Please help resolve this issue!

I do water changes every week and clean the sand bed but I want to try and get the system to run without having to do a water change every week -> and try doing it every other week or once a month.

Pretty fish and nice rock arrangement. The CUC is fine. They just don’t this junk. They are probably hungry too.
