I purchased a green bubble tip anemone from Live Aquaria, it arrived yesterday. This is my first anemone added to my tank but upon unboxing it did not look great. It was spitting out white stuff and there was white stuff already floating in the water of the bag. It still had a greenish color to it. I temp acclimated it and then drip acclimated for an hour and half. I then put it in my tank, it has moved around a couple times on the same rock but today when I woke up it had turned from green to brown and then when I came home from work it had moved under a rock out and looks to be attached there now. Any ideas what’s going on? Is it melting? Should I get it out of my tank? Any help is appreciated, my tank has been up for 8 months now, water Params:

Give it some time. You don't need to remove it right now.

Give it time and let it acclimate to the tank. As long as it’s not detached and looks like its melting it’s fine

Agree give it time to fully acclimate to the tank. It will find its way to its preferred spot. What you showed in the bag may have been its last meal (poop). When I've gotten new nems they typically go through self flushing cycles. Here are 2 of my 5 I have 4 bubble tips and a carpet...

Yeah, give it a bit of time specially if you have a large tank that can take it...
Some of my BTA go from fluffy pink 1 ft across to the size of nickel when bothered.
Specially if it attached itself it is a good sign.

Today it’s just completely closed and looks like white stuff coming out of its mouth again, it’s hard to get a pic because of where it is

Just give it time. If it was shipped without a rock and detached before shipping l, then that white stuff is normal. If it attached already it is a good sign as mentioned earlier.
Just wait
