I have a frag tank, dimensions are 72 x 36 x 12. I'm using it as a grow out table and want to use the reefi uno 2.0 lights but am not sure how many Ill need or what the ideal layout would be. It will be mixed coral (softies, lps, sps etc) so the whole tank doesn't need retina melting par. I was going to have a section for sps, one for lps etc to have different par's for them.

Does anyone have any advice/opinions?

If you have room to hang them pretty high I would do:
1 center tank forward
1 right side back
1 left side back.
