I saw that but they don't have an option for the g2 + models the stuff on the web site says to cut out all the baffles but but if you scroll down just a little bit more it say it's plug and play no moving requirements

I took the baffles out of my 3XL900 as I didn’t want any dead or stagnant spots. It
Will be a pain if you decide to go back to socks, but probably the best way to have room for both.

With G2 + models you can remove the sock chamber and refugium baffle. This should give you space to add skimmer and reefmat.

I just installed the same in my RS170 G2+ which has a slightly smaller sump than yours. Just about to get wet. Photo of install can be found on my thread. Tight fit but it does fit if oriented right.

“To install a ReefMat, remove the filter bag tray and slide out the removable divider wall”

Have you done that part?
