Hey guys, new reefer here. I’m worried about 2 of my corals so I thought I’d see what you guys think.

4 days ago, we received 3 frags from corals anonymous. Our Duncan coral is doing great, but both the candy cane and GSPs have looked bad since they got here. The GSP was flaking and had some sort of green algae growing on it. The candy cane looks to be alive but is has some hair algae growing from it as well. I see a green algae forming on the glass and my circulation pump. Should I be worried? I will mention that our Duncan corals look very healthy, albeit being very young and new to the tank!

unfortunately the candy cane looks almost dead, I can't really see the gsp, maybe try to get a more clear pic. The duncan looks ok, its polyps will be longer when its really happy though.

How old is the tank, and what are the water parameters? Do you have any powerheads in the tank?
