I’ve got 2 hygger in a nano of mine and they push good water, one at the surface, one below, low opposite direction of the outflow, to make a tornado effect current for the corals. Keeps those corals hammered with current and sand bed clean.

Hi, I bought a Carefree Fish magnetic wavemaker that I am very happy with. My tank is a 56 gallon column and it is very effective ( and i bought the smaller one) and was reasonably priced on amazon, plus it's lower profile in the tank.

I was looking at these. How long have you had it ?
It came and I put it in the tank Feb 13th so not long enough to say that it has stood the test of time. It is still working awesomely and it is dead silent.

This same one started making a horrible noise around day 2 of using it in my tank. I use it now to mix salt and warm up water.
