i just dipped my zoas with iodine and after i
pulled them out of the dip, and rinsed them with a bucket of water from the tank
i noticed a lot of them expelled all the zooaxnthelle*. A lot are all brown now
and lost all colors...what should i do? I just put them back into the tank and
am hoping they are going to be fine again...

At this point that is about the best thing. Put them somewhere they wont be harassed or tipped over. I am not a big fan of iodine or peroxide dips I fell they are very harsh on corals. For zoas I really like the coral rx pro. Revive works reasonably well too. If they havnt opened tomorrow try a dip in one of those two if you have them. For a zoa that is ailing i take a small specimen cup put two drops of coral rx pro, one drop of selcon, one drop of amino acids. Alot of times it helps turn them around. Good luck hope its a happy ending!

You have to be very careful when dipping, sometimes it's not always the right thing to do in my opinion

I avoid using iodine dips bc it's too harsh on the zoa/paly.... I use coral rx dip.
I would leave them alone in med to low flow.... I wouldn't stress them anymore. If you have a hippo tang or yellow tang
they will eat them when they speew out. Try to put them on a rack or cup with net on top.
The color will comeback in a couple of weeks (you might have dip them too long in iodine).
If they get brown film on them then dip in coral rx and use eye dropper to blow them off in a cup.

good luck and pm if you like.
