Have you tested water? Do you use ro/di water? Most algae problems are caused by excess nutrients( overfeeding) main cause. Need to know if you have a protein skimmer and your water parameters. You will have to get a cuc and try to remove as much as you can manually.

If you can, do a hydrogen peroxide dip....will kill the HA but not damage the GSP at all. 25% h2o2 and 75% tank water is what I have used...dip them for 10 minutes.
Finding out what the cause is however is more important in the long run.
