I know this is a saltwater fish forum, but I’m getting freshwater fish since it’s my first time having fish exept for a beta I had years ago.

here’s my tank pic! So far :). I’m panning to get 2 guppies, 1 platy, and a ghost shrimp :)

@Sharkbait19
me and my mom looked, and the fish just needs time to adjust, it’s swimming a little now, it’s top fin is a little short to, the water isnt the problem, because the 2 other fish aren’t reacting to it.
It doesn’t always happen to all of the fish at once.
Most of the fancy guppies are not healthy fish, as they are so inbred that their immune systems are pretty bad.
Hopefully it pulls through for you!

Hello everyone….., my yellow guppy was surfacing and wrapping around the pole in the fish tank…. this morning I went and checked and sadly the yellow guppy had passed. Rip. At least my other 2 survived!

Sorry to hear. Guppies tend to be unhealthy, so it isn’t surprising that one may pass. Glad to hear the others are fine!

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear one of your guppies passed. But at least the other two fish are okay. I know next to nothing about FW, I went straight into saltwater tanks as my intro to fish keeping. Good luck and happy keeping.
