Hi, Joe. I love my little 6.5gal. It took about 3 years to level out, but now it's almost no maintenance. I am starting to collect parts to rebuild my 55 though.

Exactly!, I can't say I am not impressed by the big set ups, they're gorgeous, but I don't have the spare cash and time it takes to do anything like that.
My efforts are going to be rather humble, simple and within self imposed constraints.
I like the tiny scale ,up close goings on, copepods and polyps, and find I am always happy with my little pets.

They are nifty,.. I might go with a pederson though ,a guy I know, who also started up a pico has the sexy shrimp, and although it's silly , I don't want to have the same stock. It would be like wearing matching suits to a meeting.

FOURTEEN GALLONS! Huge ! That's like ,, three whole five gallon buckets of water!
I doubt I'll be doing anything novel. I like the idea of a gravity feed atf ... I'm thinking I will grow some fragments first, and restructure to somehow lift the rock off of the bottom, floating meteor style, and if I get that far, might have an interesting sequence to show...right now, eh, dunno.

She jumped on the trachy before it hit the sandbed. I think she has navigated a trachy before. Hopefully the trachy never decides to eat her.
