I have a red sea reefer 250 with 4 chromis, a small tang, 2 ocelaris and one bengai cardinal fish. the problem is that I have a fleacroller 500 and a deltec 600i. the skimmer stops producing anything after a couple of days, the fleaceroller is so effective that I risk getting 0-0 values. Will a deltec 400i be to big? or other good skimmers that are not to effektive? I think BK dubbelcone 130 might be to big

We have been told to downsize our skimmers by 1 size when using a fleece roller unit.
Skimmers too large will start & stop because there is just not enough bio load for them to work consistently. Smaller volume tanks can be difficult with skimmers. A HOB may be your answer.
I am using the IOAIO for 80 -100 gallons they sent me to try. I had a simplicity that I was not too happy with.
