Hi everyone,

For some reason I could not find the right search terms, which slowed me down trying to panic-mix some water. A 5 gallon orange home depot bucket (no lid) weighs 811g, which I measured on my food scale. 5 gallons of water is 18.9kg, so it's enough to matter when mixing salt.

hope that helps

Oh, and for search engines: home depot bucket weight empty 5gal 5gallon tare

I mix 800g of Nyos salt in a home depot bucket to give me 1.026 specific gravity, if that helps.
