I’m so behind as I wanted to do an actual build thread. (I’ll get to it eventually). After a 6 year break, we are back in reefin. One of our toughest decisions was trying to figure out the room to put the new tank in. We decided on my husband’s home office. Thought I’d share some pictures. We are already contemplating switching out where the tank is now with the retro gaming area so we can go bigger. It never ends!

Looking forward to seeing how this tank goes!
Thank you. We put so much work/time/thought in upfront to make it as easy and low maintenance as possible. It is currently doing daily automatic water changes, etc. We also oversized equipment knowing that we may want to go bigger.

Thank you. It’s a start! I’ll post some updated pictures once I finish getting my new stuff in. This weather and staffing shortages has been delaying all shipments!
When did you order and receive the tank? If you don't mind me asking?

Perfect!
If you wish, you could add a mandarin blenny, they eat pods, and look amazing!
It is definitely on the list. Unfortunately, we had ich in the tank (first time in all my years of reefing) which is now managed, but are on hold for adding new fish.
