Hi folks. I'm thinking of getting a second wavemaker but I'm not sure if I need one so I was wondering how your wavemakers are setup.
Do you use more than one? Are they in the middle of the glass or higher/lower? Are they pointed horizontal or at an angle? What mode do you run them in? What strength of flow? Etc if there's anything I may have missed. And suggestions for what I should get.
Thanks!

I always use 2 powerheads, even my 15 gallon softie tank has 2 (for muchrooms and zoa's). Its so much easier to create random flow patterns with 2 streams bouncing off each other, and also cuts down on dead flow spots.

Only one powerhead means a linear one-way flow with lots of dead spots.

I feel that flow is very underestimated, but strong flow does wonders for a closed system.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
