I've got a colony of Big R and a colony of "regular" WD. They are both about 5" with quite a few branches. They have been growing pretty quickly in fact. I'm looking forward to them getting really big. I haven't fragged either in several months but may do so soon just to get a bit nicer shape. Will try to pull and post some pics later today.

The first is the Big R WD and the second is the "normal" WD. Pictures aren't too good but show the colonies fairly well.

I like it! Is that monti encrusting around it? Both are amazing pieces, do you have them under Orphek lights? Thank you for sharing!!

The Big R has yellow porites and some encrusting remnants of pink cadillac around it. The regular WD has Tubbs lavender encrusting around it... it also grows some pillars under high light. Yes, those are Orphek Atlantiks above! I really like them quite a bit. 3 of them light my 300DD VERY WELL.

Started with just 2 polyps!

I'm curious if this was a challenge? Or did someone just give you a crazy tiny piece? Either way, I'm impressed that you have been able to nurse it to an actual frag now. :0)

I bought a nice frag of WD and it started to RTN overnight. I immediately fragged it up. Only three frags survived of which one was the smallest of just two polyps. First photo is the original & second is same frag RTN’ing. Next two pics are the three surviving “frags”.
