Right, just for funsies. Office is going on in a lottery pool. Everyone is planning what vacations they're going on, houses to buy, exotic destinations. How am I thinking of spending the moula?

That's right, target feeding my new sun fish.

What size tank would you need for this monster? Oh, gotta run. Hear the Sun Fish Police on the way.

P.s., if we win, which we won't, but if we do, I'm getting a massive tank I can swim in.

Well, Georgia aquarium is 10 million gallons, so I'm thinking...

16 ft tall 200 ft cube (200' x 200' x 16'). Filled 15', that'd put us near 4.5 million gallons. That's a lot of Fritz blue box...

Guys, guys, it's not about the size of the tank, it's how you set up your aquascape. The sunfish just needs its own safe space. Lots of hidey holes and such.

using my "no more than 1 tang per gallon" rule and thinking sunfish is perhaps 1000 times larger, i would say 1000 gallon per sun fish would be ok.

I don't know how big a tank you would need but I have seen them here on Long Island behind my house (from a boat) and it is 23 miles across to Connecticut

You should get an oarfish instead. You just need a 2’x2’x100’ tank for that. Just needs to be able to up and down.
